MORE ON FALCONS!

Here is a wonderful photo of both parent falcons in the nestbox at the same time feeding their young. Very unusual in that usually one is hunting and the other is tending or watching nearby. Five eggs were hatched this year, also unusual. Usually they hatch 3-4. Apparently it really takes a village, or at least two parents, to raise these little ones. Remarkably they will be as big as their parents in about 4 weeks and will fledge very soon after that. Mariah, Kavar and the Babies
