HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the USA! Now don’t eat too much turkey - ok, go ahead then!
I have much to be thankful for this year. In spite of the fact that my hsuband is not doing too well, but still holding on, my family has been manificent in keeping together with each other, supporting me, checking on him frequently and generally just being a splendid family!
I recently had to return to the hospital for some surgery (hernia repair for crying out loud - I thought men got that problem) but I am on the mend and the surgeon found nothing to suggest that there has been a return of my cancer of two years ago. So we have to remind ourselves that when things seems so difficult there is always a worse situation that someone has to endure. Be good to each other out there and take care of yourselves. Now, back to making my sweet potatoe and apple casserole!
