PALE MALE’S NEW DIGS!
The geniuses in New York City that removed the red tailed hawk nest have put it back just in time for the nesting season! Let’s just hope that Pale Male and Lola will rebuild the nest. You can see the spikes in the picture that stand up all along the cornice. These spikes were put in originally to deter pigeons but they served beatifully to anchor the nest materials. Pale Male is no fool and his new digs are located in a building on Fifth Avenue where the apartments go for $18 Million dollars! Now what exactly does an $18 million dollar apartment look like? But that is anaother matter. I am just thrilled that New Yorkers will have the opportunity to observe these gorgeous birds raise another family.

It is only right that Pale Male and Lola are now able to restore their nest at 927 Fifth Avenue. These two wonderful birds have more savvy, class, intelligence, and star quality than anyone I can think of in New York City. In a frenectic metropolis, where there is often unrest and anxiety, these gorgeous birds have injected feelings of love, unity, family values and hopefulness to all the New Yorkers who love to watch their ongoing saga. I say bravo to the coop board who made the decision to resotre the pigeon spikes.
