STYLE WATCH!
Vice President Cheney attended yesterday’s gathering of world leaders in southern Poland to mark the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. So far so good… The ceremony at the Nazi death camp was outdoors, so those in attendance, such as French President Jacques Chirac and Russian President Vladimir Putin, were wearing dark, formal overcoats and dress shoes or boots. In other words they were dressed in a dignified manner suited to this somber occasion. But our Vice President appeared to look as though he was prepared to shovel snow or hike in the woods. Incidentally he was dressed perfectly for his swearing in ceremony here in the US so what gives? Doesn’t he have “people” to advise him on wardrobe matters. Mrs. Cheney was also wearing a parka but at least it was black. The whole thing is embarrassing!
