COOKIE MONSTER ON A DIET! PLEASE!
Oh good grief..Sesame Street and the powers that be have apparently put my beloved, blue, furry Cookie Monster on a health food diet. It seems that “C is for Cooooookie” has now been changed into “Cookie is a sometimes food”. I guess we now have “anytime” foods (I suppose carrots are on that list) and “sometimes” foods (how many cookies can I have and how often?)
Does Oscar the Grouch have to clean up now. Now I am for kids eating healthier to stave off the rampant over weight issues in kids, but the Cookie Monster saying, “Cookies are a sometimes food” just doesn’t roll off the tongue! Sigh……..
