BABY ORANGUTAN AT LA ZOO!
The LA Zoo is celebrating the birth of a baby orangutan and what better day to post these pictures than Mother’s Day - The baby is two months old. Since there is a viewing platform in our state of the art exhibit I was able to get some wonderful closeup pictures of them. They are behind glass and I was about three feet away. The animals may visit this platform IF they wish and fortunately for us, mother frequently comes to the window! Does she want to show off her baby? I had better not anthropomorphize here but it certainly looks like she is very proud and wants to share. In any event, enjoy and Happy Mother’s Day!
